In the garden, even rustles are not heard,
Here everything has died down until the morning.
If only you knew how dear to me
The evenings near Moscow are.
If only you knew how dear to me
The evenings near Moscow are.
The small river is moving and not moving,
(It) all (made) of moon silver.
The song is heard and not heard
On these quiet evenings.
The song is heard and not heard
On these quiet evenings.
So why, my dear, are you looking askance,
Tilting your head low?
It's hard to express and not express
Everything that's going on in my heart.
It's hard to express and not express
Everything that's going on in my heart.
And the dawn is already more noticeable,
So, please, be kind.
You too, don't forget these summer
Evenings near Moscow.
Don't forget these summer
Evenings near Moscow.
